Alma 30:7-8

7 Now there was no law against a man’s belief; for it was strictly contrary to the commands of God that there should be a law which should bring men on to unequal grounds.
8 For thus saith the scripture: Choose ye this day, whom ye will serve.

I love that they had the same scriptures we do, and over the centuries and millenia, have tried to apply Joshua's counsel and follow his example.


Just last night I was studying the Passover and it strengthened my faith in Christ so much.


I love knowing that these people studied the same ancient scripture as me, and that Christ has always and will always be the center of all of our worship and Whom we all must trust in.


I wonder if our family home evenings were similar? I bet they were. Probably more than I know.
