13 And thus we see how great the inequality of man is because of sin and transgression, and the power of the devil, which comes by the cunning plans which he hath devised to ensnare the hearts of men.
14 And thus we see the great call of diligence of men to labor in the vineyards of the Lord; and thus we see the great reason of sorrow, and also of rejoicing—sorrow because of death and destruction among men, and joy because of the light of Christ unto life.

Mormon gave me 3 "thus we see"s, to help me figure it out. I'm going to focus and ponder on the 3rd today.

"Thus we see... the great reason to rejoice because of the light of Christ unto life."

If Mormon wanted me to see that Christ is Life and Light in a story so full of death and darkness, maybe I need to consider more the depth of meaning of life and death.

Apparently there can be light and life, even in death and sorrow, because of Christ.

I know that in my head, but I need to go think about it more so I can know it more in my heart.
