Alma 27:26

26 And it came to pass that it did cause great joy among them. And they went down into the land of Jershon, and took possession of the land of Jershon; and they were called by the Nephites the people of Ammon; therefore they were distinguished by that name ever after.

Did they take possession of people's homes? Or was this extra land and they built their own houses?

Not sure it would be such a joyful experience if one family was placed while another was "un" placed.

So many questions. I'm so eager to learn all of the details someday. For now, praying, pondering, and grateful for what we have.
