16 But Aaron said unto him: If thou desirest this thing, if thou wilt bow down before God, yea, if thou wilt repent of all thy sins, and will bow down before God, and call on his name in faith, believing that ye shall receive, then shalt thou receive the hope which thou desirest.

I believe Aaron's advice here applies to me too. And everyone, not just the king.

I'm going to memorize and remember this verse today.

So does this verse apply to me, if my desires are more of a temporal nature? What should I believe? I feel like there's so much for me to learn, but for now I will express my honest and heartfelt desires to God and then also offer Him my trust no matter the outcome.

(I have this question often, and I always seem to circle back to one thought, "It's not about the thing...it's about the faith." Or in other words, the relationship with Christ.

HE is easy to trust in. Much easier than outcomes.)

Comforting.
